"The Space Between:
The inspiration behind these photographs is to conjure the space between dreaming and wakefulness, the space between an actual memory and an invented one. I use a modified tilt shift style lens to capture areas of focus amidst areas of blur and pulled focus, which I feel creates an uneasiness as well as a dreamy quality that is timeless. I aim to evoke the space between for viewers, as well as a shifted perspective, perhaps capturing things we all miss while blinking.
I have been an artist all my life, and have had a photography business for over 25 years.
